Our testers found that one person should align the sections (there are helpful arrows on the sections) and the other should insert the pieces. Regarding both assembly and disassembly, we found it helpful to have another person on hand as the pieces are somewhat heavy. Take Balsam Hill's Vermont White Spruce, which earned a perfect score for its realistic appearance. One of the best parts about artificial Christmas trees is that you can find options that look and feel just like the real thing. Need many people to assemble and disassemble Height: 7.5 feet | Base Diameter: 30 inches | Lights: No | Special Features: N/A The tree still feels sturdy enough to handle ornaments and tree toppers, so it's perfect for those looking to get fancy with decorations. This tree's slim appearance is ideal for tight corners and small spaces, but lends it a slightly less realistic appearance. The tree compresses easily and fits well into its storage box. Disassembly was even easier, with no instructions needed. The sections were far lighter in weight than other options, and the branches were easy to pull apart for intuitive and quick fluffing. This simple tree is free of any lighting or decor, so you can decorate it with your own style-and even change it up year after year.Īssembly for this tree was quick (less than seven minutes) and only required one person. If you’re looking for a more minimal tree that you can make your own, the National Tree Company Artificial Slim Christmas Tree is a great option. Height: 7.5 feet | Base Diameter: 52 inches | Lights: Yes | Special Features: PVC tips on branches, lights remain lit if one goes out, Varied branches While we didn't test it, it's the same brand we loved in a similar style, size, and price point. Until then, we recommend checking out the Puleo International 7.5 Foot Pre-Lit Elegant Series Fraser Fir Artificial Christmas Tree. Plus, it should be easy to locate and fix specific broken bulbs: "When one light is out only a small section is impacted so it would be easy to troubleshoot the missing bulb," said our tester.Įditor's Note: Due to high demand, this tree is currently out of stock. That being said, it's easy to wrap around another string of your favorite colored lights for a different look each holiday season. One downside of this tree is that the lighting does not reach the very bottom of the branches in addition, all of the lights are white without the choice of variation. Disassembling and storing the tree was even easier, only taking about five minutes with no visible damage or bulging on the included box. The base and tree stand were both simple to assemble and felt sturdy enough to handle heavier ornaments and garlands. Our tester noted that you only need one person and assembly took about 17 minutes, which we love. And unlike other artificial trees, the "needles" also felt soft while assembling-no gloves required. The branches on this option vary in size and shape, giving it a very full appearance that rivals a natural tree. With its classic appeal, this 7.5-foot pre-lit tree received high scores from our testers across all categories-including the incredibly important appearance category. Lights don't extend to the end of the branchesĪfter a full day of testing, the Puleo International Teton Pine Artificial Christmas Tree was a clear winner. ![]() The Spruce Home Improvement Review Board. ![]() 7/14/2023 0 Comments Exercise timer clock![]() The timer is a 6V voltage Input, and the alarm is easy to hear but not loudly enough and the volume can not be adjustable Please note: The size of the sound is related to the voltage. It seems the extreme drying was the culprit. All of the Fastcap had begun to delaminate whether it had gotten wet or not. They dried it for two weeks with dehumidifiers and fans. A side note here, I recently went back to a job where if first tried the Fastcap edging and there had been a broken tub valve on the second story that flooded the kitchen below. I always use solid or frame and panel doors and drawers. I have never used it on doors or drawer fronts, only on cabinet parts that are hidden behind the doors and drawers. To contributor T: Just wondering how often if at all you have used the Edgemate on doors and drawer fronts? Would you use it on light use commercial cabinets? So far I have not had any call backs on it. I can put a lot more pressure on the banding which in turn makes it stick better. I use a veneer scraper to put it on rather than a roller. The Edgemate is a superior product and comes in many species. I have used the Fastcap edgebanding and then switched to Edgemate peel and stick with 3M adhesive. Otherwise it seems like a guaranteed call back in a short while. This seems to stop the creeping and makes it stick twice as well. When we use it for susan boxes and such I have the guys brush contact cement on the particle board edge. The Fastcap tape doesn't stick well enough to suit me. Whenever I'm doing custom melamine closets I have a roll or two with me and wouldn't be caught without it. If something is going to see wear try to stick with the edgebander. It's kind of a use your best judgment type of thing. One of those odd tools worth every penny! Now you don't want to use the stuff where it's going to see a lot of wear, like shelf or door edges. I also use it with their cap making kit to make matching caps to cover screws. It sticks pretty well and is easy to apply following their directions. ![]() Having the Fastcap tape to be able to band on site is a great tool. Sometimes it's a cut-to-fit part or assembly, and sometimes it's something that's getting changed in progress. For me it's often when I need to band a part on site. However, if you’re doing PVC banding using an iron is out, and there are times when you can't use the bander. I try to do most of my banding on my HolzHer as well, but there's always an oddball piece here and there that’s easier to iron on. I see FastCap makes a stick on banding, I was curious how well it works? Has anyone here tried it, or currently use it? ![]() I have a Brandt edgebander that I use for most of my edgebanding, but I do use an iron-on tape for odds and ends. ![]() 7/14/2023 0 Comments Mos marines school![]() ![]() It includes the establishment, operation, maintenance and repair of power generation sites, heating, shower and laundry facilities, ventilation, air conditioning and refrigeration. ![]() Marines in this field are responsible for planning and providing utilities to support posts and stations. Thank you for your patience while we try to work with Apple to solve ping spikes on macOS. We truly understand that a hardware solution may not be ideal, especially for a laptop, but it’s a good solution. If your machine does not have an ethernet port, we recommend that you purchase an ethernet adapter such as Apple's USB Ethernet Adapter to work around the issue. We found that this issue only occurs on wifi connections and not with ethernet connections, so it’s best to use ethernet rather than wifi(such as the one that's built into a Mac Mini, Mac Pro or iMac). Closing apps one by one may help you identify which app is causing the ping spike, but since you probably need those apps, this won't be much help in the long term. It not only affects Synergy users, but gamers too. The bad news is that it's an issue that Apple hasn't been fixed yet. The good news is that it's probably not your wifi access point causing the issue, and it's most likely the problem described above (an issue with your wifi adapter). Obviously, not using these apps is not really an option, but at least knowing what can cause a ping spike may help with frustration. Many macOS apps cause the WiFi adapter to be queried, so either opening or just generally using apps like Chrome and Safari almost always trigger a ping spike. Response times in the hundreds of milliseconds mean that the cursor will feel as if it's lagging. This is the delay caused by the macOS issue and it impacts the performance of Synergy. Notice that the ping times are now in the 100s of milliseconds, for example, 489.221 ms. Click on the Ping tab and you should be presented with the following: To perform a ping open the Network Utility from Applications > Utilities. As part of the ping process, the time taken for the remote computer to respond is measured. Ping is a utility for checking communication between computers is operational essentially an "are you there?" message between computers. "While it’s on that temporary channel, the STA can’t be on the channel it’s using to communicating with the AP, and thus you see spikes in latency." - Quinn “The Eskimo!” (Developer Technical Support, Core OS/Hardware at Apple) How can I see a ping spike on my macOS? We have opened a dialog with Apple Developer Relations about this issue, which has thankfully been fielded by Quinn “The Eskimo!” (Developer Technical Support, Core OS/Hardware at Apple) and we're working with them to try to solve the problem. One of the best ways to see the slowdown is to use the Network Utility app (included with macOS) and look for a "ping spike", a condition where communication between computers slows down. This doesn't just affect Synergy all applications requiring network access are impacted, including games and Apple's own utilities. As far as we know, Apple has not announced plans to fix this issue. The mouse lag problem is caused by a long-standing underlying macOS issue which causes the wifi hardware to temporarily slow down under certain conditions, such as having the wifi menu bar open. Some tools such as WiFriedX have been created to disable AWDL and AirDrop, which some people suspect causes this issue. You can tell if a machine is the server computer if it has a white dot on it on the Synergy config app. Generally, mouse lag happens on macOS when the macOS is the client computer and not the server computer. This wifi lag could affect your Synergy experience, causing mouse lag where the mouse cursor movement appears delayed or choppy. This is also known as a "ping spike" (named after the ‘ping’ tool). On macOS, the wifi adapter can sometimes lag randomly. Other than slow wifi, the only possible cause could be a problem with the CPU or memory problems that can cause the mouse cursor to lag. ![]() There are currently no known issues in Synergy for the Windows and Linux operating systems that could cause mouse lag. If your computers don't have ethernet ports, you may need to purchase a USB ethernet adapter. If your ethernet network is in another room, or you don't have one, then you could set up an ethernet network. The best solution is to use an ethernet cable. You can check if this is the issue by doing a ping test. The most common cause for a mouse cursor to lag is usually a bad wifi connection. ![]() 7/13/2023 0 Comments Vba programming![]() The application of VBA self-programming can quickly and accurately perform critical illness scoring.
